Uptown Streetscape Begins At School
Workers for two contractors begin construction on the Uptown Streetscape Improvement project by removing bricks from the sidewalk, cutting away about a foot of asphalt roadway, and removing streetlights in front of Hanby Elementary before rebuilding the sidewalks and expanding them about a foot into State Street before school starts August 13.
